Matthew Camilleri has successfully raised almost €2,000 for the Richmond Foundation after completing a 50km fundraising walk from Birzebbuġa to Għarb several hours later than planned.Sharing an update on social media after finally reaching his destination, Camilleri revealed that the initiative had raised an impressive €1,955 for the mental health charity.“We arrived five hours late, but it doesn’t matter,” Camilleri said in a video message after completing the challenge.The fundraiser saw Camilleri take on the lengthy walk to raise both funds and awareness for the Richmond Foundation, with supporters following his journey and contributing throughout the day.Despite the unexpected delay, donations continued to pour in, helping push the total close to the €2,000 mark.
