A Florida man says he and his girlfriend were told to leave a Chick-fil-A drive-thru in Daytona Beach after a teenage employee accused them of inappropriate behavior, according to a video he posted on TikTok. The man, who goes by Omar (@lostwithomar) on the platform, said the accusation came during a mobile order pickup and that he believes his dashcam footage disproves it. According to Omar, the incident began as a routine stop. He said he and his girlfriend were talking about a bad experience at Taco Bell two days earlier when a teenage employee approached their vehicle and asked for the name on the order, which he gave as “Omar.” Minutes later, Omar said, a manager came to the car and told them they needed to leave without giving a reason. “We were just falsely accused of something very explicit,” he said in the video. When Omar asked why they had to leave, he said the manager told him the teenage worker “had seen that we were doing something inappropriate while she was asking us, I guess, to order.” According to Omar, the manager did not elaborate further and walked away without giving her name. Manager cites employee’s discomfort during drive-thru order Omar said the manager then threatened to call the police if they did not leave. He said he welcomed the idea, recalling that he told her, “Call the cops because we have … I have a dashcam.” According to Omar, no officers arrived during the roughly 30 minutes the couple said they waited. A second manager later approached and allegedly gave a more specific explanation for the accusation. Omar said this manager told him the teenage employee claimed his girlfriend’s head “was in between my thighs in the drive-thru as we’re speaking to her.” Omar disputed the claim, saying, “We both made eye contact with her when she came out to the window. How does that make sense? We have it on recording.” Omar said Chick-fil-A processed a refund for his order during the encounter. He also said the employee who made the accusation left the store shortly after the incident, though he said it was unclear whether she had been sent home or chose to leave on her own. @lostwithomar i honestly cannot believe i recorded this video, me and my girlfriend were falsely accused for a serious crime in a chick-fil-a drive thru.. we’re embarrassed and very frustrated for which the way we were treated we have already filed a complaint and called corporate and let them know that we have DASHCAM footage of how we were treated and the whole drive thru experience. It honestly felt like we were racially profiled. On top of that the minor that accused us of this was seen giggling with other co-workers and looking at our vehicle as we drove to park. We are honestly in disbelief .. @Chick-fil-A ♬ original sound – omar⁷ Following the incident, Omar said he filed a complaint with Chick-fil-A’s corporate office and was told to expect a response by email within a couple of days. Disputes with Chick-fil-A employees have made headlines before, including one where a worker refused to return a customer’s $100 bill, claiming it was counterfeit. In his TikTok caption, he described feeling “racially profiled” and said the employee was seen “giggling with other co-workers” and looking at their vehicle as they drove to park. Omar later posted dashcam footage as a follow-up after a commenter asked whether the recording included video from inside the vehicle or only audio. The clip does not show the inside of the car, but does include audio of the exchange with employees.  The video drew a range of reactions online. One commenter suggested pursuing legal action, writing, “File a lawsuit for defamation. That will really make them do something about it.” Another reacted more broadly to the situation, commenting, “people lie too easily nowadays.” Other commenters focused on the restaurant chain itself and on the role the dashcam played in the dispute. One person wrote, “1st mistake… going to Chick-fil-A,” while another said, “This is why it’s so great to have a dash cam. It’s for ALL occasions.” Other Chick-fil-A customers have also raised questions about charges at the chain. A separate commenter on Omar’s video noted that Chick-fil-A’s drive-thru lanes are also equipped with their own cameras, to which Omar replied that he expected that footage to be reviewed as well.
