Nothing to do with this, but fun fact - my dad had what I think was called a “hardship” license when he was 15. His dad had passed and his mom worked. He went to a high school probably 15 miles away from his house so he needed to drive. He was only allowed to drive from his house to school. This was in the US in the 1960’s. Oddly he also worked after school/weekends and biked wayyy more than 15 miles for that job.
