India is prioritizing self-reliance in defence to secure its future, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He highlighted a significant surge in domestic defence production, from ₹46,000 crore in 2014 to a projected ₹1.78 lakh crore in FY26, underscoring enhanced national capabilities and confidence. The corporatisation of Ordnance Factory Board has also boosted production and exports, with ambitious targets set for the coming years.
