A Maltese designer has discovered that work he created during his time at Rockstar Games has made its way onto the official cover art of Grand Theft Auto VI.Mark Scicluna shared the news on social media shortly after Rockstar unveiled the highly anticipated artwork for GTA 6, one of the biggest video game releases in the world.“I was lucky enough to be a part of the amazing 2D design team at Rockstar Games from 2016–2021,” Scicluna wrote.He went on to reveal that one of the in-game brands he helped create during his time at the company can be spotted on the newly released cover art.“Never thought I’d see one of the brands I’d created for GTA VI featured on the cover art of the game,” he said.The post quickly caught the attention of fellow gamers and creatives, with many congratulating the Maltese designer on having a small but significant part in one of gaming’s most anticipated titles.Rockstar Games recently unveiled the official GTA 6 cover art alongside confirmation that pre-orders will open on 25th June, sending fans worldwide into a frenzy.While millions of players are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the game, one Maltese creative now has an extra reason to be excited when it finally launches.Did you know a Maltese designer helped create brands featured in the game?•
