This, absolutely. There is absolutely NO way that a 2 yo from a poor family is going without medication. However, there are a lot of uninformed bleeding hearts reading these things who immediately believe there's a sick child. Why do you think OOP said the cause was a 2 yo needing medicine instead of something else?? To tug on the ol' heartstrings. But how do we know there even is a child? Lots of people aren't above scamming. If you want to help, a good way is to contact OOP and tell them you're happy to help...but that you want to pay the pharmacy directly. When OOP discovers you aren't going to put cash right in their pocket, chances are high they will start making excuses about why that's not an option. But if they agree, then you can proceed.
