Woman sub-inspector among three Bengaluru police personnel trapped by ACB in Jaipur in bribery case - The HinduPublished - June 14, 2026 11:27 pm IST - BengaluruImran Gowhar 10146The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday trapped three Bengaluru Police personnel, including a sub-inspector and two head constables, for allegedly accepting a bribe from a complainant.The accused have been identified as sub-inspector Anita and head constables Yatish Kumar and Ulvappa. They reportedly travelled to Jaipur in connection with the investigation of a dowry harassment case registered in Bengaluru.According to the ACB officials, the police personnel allegedly demanded a bribe of ₹2 lakh from the complainant in exchange for extending relief in the case proceedings. Following a complaint, the ACB verified the allegations and laid a trap at Hotel Gangaur in Jaipur.The accused were caught redhanded while accepting ₹40,000 as part of the demanded bribe amount.The operation was led by ACB Additional Superintendent of Police Bhupendra Chaudhary under the supervision of Deputy-Inspector General of Police Om Prakash Meena.
