THE RUNDOWNTravis Kelce detailed how he and Taylor Swift spent their time in London last week on New Heights. He opened up about their dinner at Gymkhana and his impressions of the West End play they saw.The couple was photographed in London on Thursday and Friday before attending a wedding in Greece over the weekend.Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were photographed in London on Thursday, enjoying dinner at Gymkhana and a performance of Romeo & Juliet, the West End play starring Sadie Sink, who also appeared in Swift’s 2021 “All Too Well” short film. While Swift hasn’t commented on their excursion, Travis gave a breakdown of their evening during this week’s New Heights episode. His brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end about his London trip with Swift. “I found out you were in London on the Internet. That was fun,” Jason quipped.“London is fun, Jason,” Travis responded. When asked if he did anything stereotypically British, he touched on the couple’s night out in the West End.“For the most part, had some really good food and enjoyed some plays,” he said. “Saw Sadie Sink, and, I believe, Noah Jupe is his name. He’s fucking phenomenal as Romeo. Sadie was phenomenal as Juliet as well.”He then spoke at length about his dinner with Swift at the Indian restaurant Gymkhana, where they were joined by cinematographer Rina Yang. (Yang has worked with Swift on music videos like “Lavender Haze.”)He called it the “second best” Indian food he’s ever had “because Kumar [Ferguson, Kelce’s personal chef] makes the best Indian food. I would say it was one of the most surprising meals that I’ve ever had. I went to a spot called Gymkhana, which was fucking remarkable. Every dish they brought out, I didn’t ask a single question. I just dove in. The only questions that I had to answer was how hot or how spicy, the heat of the spice.”“It was its own rendition [of Indian dishes],” he added. “I don’t think I really understood what we were ordering. I kind of went with what the table was getting.”Spice level, he added, “was a table consensus. We went more on the mild side, but it was still—like Ed Kelce [his dad] sitting over a bucket of chicken wings, watching Jeopardy. [It was still hot], yeah, I was fucking leaking. [The place] is phenomenal and now that I know there’s one in Vegas, everyone in America needs to go try it.”Jason playfully brought up that Travis is a picky eater, which he has teased his little brother for on New Heights before. He asked whether the label is still accurate.“No, it’s not. It’s not accurate at all,” Travis responded. “But it’s fun to play around with because I was at one point, yes. And I will give you credit: You opened up the curiosity of eating. It took me to be probably 22ish, I think it was, maybe 21.”Jason agreed that he helped but gave a rare shout-out to Swift for her bigger contribution to Travis’s culinary palate. “Taylor has gotten you more out of your comfort zone than I ever did,” he said.View full post on YouTube
