Derek Chisora gets seal of approval for Deontay Wilder rematch with rival left ‘upset’ over result

Derek Chisora’s wife has suggested she is happy for him to box again, and he believes Deontay Wilder is open to a rematch.Chisora was beaten in a back and forth slug-fest with Wilder in March, which appeared to signal the end of his career.Chisora and Wilder could meet again in their next boutsGettyBut despite once again facing calls to retire, which he had stated he would after his 50th professional fight, it appears his story isn’t over yet.In an interview with talkSPORT, Chisora declared he would be making a comeback, already reversing his decision.And he suggested revenge against Wilder was his main priority.In a fresh update, Chisora has suggested he is now in the process of trying to reach out for a rematch.He explained to Sky Sports: “I’m working on the rematch. The wife has given me the green light, so I will be doing the rematch.“I haven’t confirmed it yet. I have a couple meetings tomorrow [on Wednesday] and we will see how that goes.“He [Wilder] is keen because he’s upset with the result as well. Yes he might have won but he’s upset, so we are going to run it back.”When asked if his career could stretch beyond a sequel with Wilder, he continued: “That’s it.
