Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away in Lucknow. He was found in his kitchen and rushed to the hospital. The cause of death was cardiorespiratory collapse. His wife, Aparna Bisht Yadav, has joined the BJP. Akhilesh Yadav was among the first family members to arrive at the hospital.
