When Time Crisis comes to the PS4 and PS5 as part of the PlayStation Plus Classic lineup, it will feature a gyro aim feature for the first time. It will join the PlayStation Plus Premium library on May 19, 2026. Like past releases such as Wild Arms 4, we’ll see it become available to purchase separately via the PlayStation Store after that debut. You will need to subscribe to the $17.99 per month plan in order to access it with a PlayStation Plus membership. Since Time Crisis first launched as a light-gun shooter, the gyroscopic controls will offer a new aiming option based on that. The PlayStation Blog and Bandai Namco announcement didn’t mention if this will also offer similar motion controls for reloading or dodging. However, Sony’s reveal also noted that in addition to the base game, the Kantaris Deal additional mission stages will be present. The base game involves Richard Miller saving the kidnapped daughter of the newly elected president in a foreign country. The extra mission involves another case in the same region that involves illegal weapons manufacturing. Time Crisis will join the PlayStation Plus Premium Game Catalog collection for PS4 and PS5 players onMay 19, 2026, and we should also see it launch on the PlayStation Store as a standalone purchase when it does. The game also appeared on the original PS1 and in arcades. We may earn a commission if you purchase from certain links.
