We have a long-term partnership with Eubank Jr.”Chris Eubank Jr’s next fight Shalom went on to insist that he would be promoting Eubank Jr’s next fight, which is being tentatively eyed for the back end of the year. This turnaround is dependent on Eubank Jr making a full recovery from the ‘underlying health condition’ he suffered in the lead up to his lopsided defeat to Conor Benn in November 2025.talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan claims the issue, which plagued Eubank Jr in the lead-up to fight night, was to do with his digestion.Eubank Jr has been out of action since his unanimous decision loss to Benn last NovemberGettyEubank Jr was rushed to the hospital in the immediate aftermath of their inaugural encounter seven months prior, with severe dehydration stemming from difficulties with making the 160lbs limit and a subsequent 10lbs rehydration clause. The plan is now for Eubank Jr to return to super middleweight (168lbs), with Australia’s Michael Zerafa said to be the frontrunner. Zerafa even told Sporting News that they have agreed upon the framework for a fight.“My team and his team, we’re all 100 per cent agreed,” Zerafa told Sporting News.“It all comes down to getting the financials, but in saying that, we’ve got A, B and C.“If A falls through, we’ve got B, and C plans backed up.”Watch Boxing on DAZN*If you click a link in this boxout, we will earn affiliate revenueSign up to DAZN to access the definitive subscription for boxing fans.Upgrade to DAZN Ultimate from just £24.99/month, guaranteeing access to 185+ fights annually, a minimum of 12 pay-per-views at no extra cost, as well as every Lega Serie A match and other elite football access.Alternatively, DAZN Standard is just £15.99/month, with the caveat you will have to pay for pay-per-view events.Click here to sign up.
