A 26-year-old man from Qormi has been arrested in connection with alleged drug trafficking after police found around 100 sachets containing a suspected synthetic drug.Police said they were informed about alleged drug trafficking activity in a car park near Triq l-Iljun, Qormi, at around 5pm yesterday.Officers went to the scene where they noticed a suspicious person exiting a vehicle.Following a search, police allegedly found around 100 sachets containing a suspected synthetic substance, along with an amount of cash.The man was arrested on site and is expected to be arraigned in court today at around 1:30pm before Magistrate Ingrid Bianco.Police investigations are still ongoing.•
