Samsung announced yesterday that it's launching the One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy S26 series this week. Earlier today, the first beta firmware was rolled out in select markets, including the United States. The beta program is only going to be available in a handful of countries initially. India and Poland are in the second phase, and they will receive the beta firmware starting May 26. More devices may become eligible for the beta down the lineAs spotted by @tarunvats33, India and Poland aren't in the list of countries receiving the One UI 9.0 beta in the first phase. Both countries will receive the update in the second phase which is set to begin from May 26. Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 9.0 beta program will only be available in South Korea, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and India for now. All three Galaxy S26 models are eligible. Those who are interested can sign up through the Samsung Members app. The official One UI 9 changelog has now been made available. It mentions some of the new features and improvements that the next major firmware update brings. This includes a more customizable Quick Panel, Samsung DeX improvements, a new Tape feature in Samsung Notes, and more.Samsung should eventually make the One UI 9.0 beta program available for devices other than the Galaxy S26 series. That may take a few weeks, though. The company will likely release the stable One UI 9.0 update in the second half of this year, once the new foldable phones are out.
