PN leader Alex Borg has announced new proposals aimed at strengthening workers, businesses and social dialogue under a future Nationalist Government.Speaking during a visit to UĦM Voice of the Workers in Floriana, Borg said the PN would increase financial assistance and resources for social partners, including unions and organisations representing workers and businesses.Among the measures announced was the creation of a dedicated fund focused on labour market research, policy analysis and developing solutions for challenges facing Malta’s workforce.Borg said the proposals would help address issues including shortages of skilled workers, low productivity, bureaucracy, technological changes and work-life balance. He stressed that Malta’s economic challenges could not be solved by Government alone and called for stronger collaboration between workers, businesses, unions and social partners. Also present during the meeting were PN candidates Joe Aquilina, Ivan Castillo and Errol Cutajar.Should unions receive more support and resources?•
