N26 Appoints Technology and Banking Experts Marieke Flament and Dr. Andreas H. Tuczka to Its Supervisory Board

N26 today announced the appointment of Marieke Flament and Dr. Andreas H. Tuczka as new members of its Supervisory Board. Both were elected by shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting and join the Supervisory Board with immediate effect. As is customary, the appointments remain subject to approval by the German banking supervisory authority.Marieke Flament is an experienced technology executive, investor, and advisor with more than 15 years of international leadership experience. She has held senior leadership roles at Boston Consulting Group, Expedia, and Circle, a global financial technology company focused on digital assets and payments. She also served as Chief Executive Officer of Mettle, NatWest's digital business banking platform for small businesses, and NEAR Foundation, the organization supporting the NEAR blockchain ecosystem. Additionally, she is an independent Supervisory Board member of Qivalis and IG Group, and advises corporates and investors on technology, artificial intelligence, and strategy.Andreas Tuczka is a seasoned banking and financial services executive and private equity investor with a breadth of expertise in regulation, capital markets, credit, and corporate finance. He has held senior positions at Erste Bank, UBS, ABN AMRO, Citigroup, and Lone Star, where he served as Head of European Financial Institutions. Andreas is also Founder and Managing Partner of Aldridge Capital, focusing on banking, software and financial services investments. In addition, he served on the boards of regulated banks, financial institutions, and private companies across Europe.Upon appointment, Marieke Flament and Andreas Tuczka join the existing members of the Supervisory Board: Dr. Andreas Dombret (Chair), Déborah Carlson-Burkart, Stefan Ermisch, Jörg Gerbig, Byron Haynes and Dr. Daniel Terberger.
