This process will be completed on-site using a mobile application and a declaration form. | Photo Credit: FILE PHOTOThe Energy Department officials will begin door-to-door verification process of all the Gruha Jyoti beneficiaries from Wednesday (July 1), according to a release.The Gruha Jyothi scheme, which was launched in July 2023, is a flagship programme of the State government, which provides free electricity up to 200 units for residential households of Karnataka.The release stated that Escoms meter readers and Escom staff will visit the houses of consumers to check records and collect the information of beneficiaries.
