Infold Games announced it canceled the release of the sixth Love and Deepspace love interest Valko following a portion of the fanbase in Asia reacting negatively to the character. It also said that Caleb will now be the last new addition to the game and it does not plan to add any other bachelors. It also stated all 6.0 previously announced July 2026 additions like the Home 2.0 element and AR Photobooth will remain and it will send all players 30 Deepspace Wishes, one per day, via mail as compensation. Following the announcement of Valko and the werewolf EonCore head joining Love and Deepspace as the sixth love interest, some players primarily in Asia began boycotting, demonstrating, protesting, and harassing the company over things like them feeling the company was neglecting development of the main storyline and of existing characters like Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb. There was also outcry about things like the game becoming more and more unfriendly to free-to-play players, a reference to an 0731 group in-story that some felt referenced WWII experimentation, and elements of the new character himself. In the official statement, Infold stated some of the new commitments it is making to Love and Deepspace following it stating it canceled Valko. The first is that the game will now cap out at five love interests and the team will prioritize the main story and existing characters. It noted Rafayel will get new Memories and a new Companion in July 2026, Caleb will get a Main Story update in September 2026, and Sylus will get a Main Story update in November 2026. Those five-star memories for those campaign chapters can be earned for free. The Home 2.0 and AR photo booth update will arrive as planned. Players will get the Hunt in Linkon Nighthush Box, character outfits, photo poses, and scenes for free alongside the 30 days of Deepspace Wishes.
