Friends, family, and cast members of Storage Wars were present on Monday to honor the life of Darrell Sheets, who died by suicide earlier this year. As the A&E series continues with new episodes on the 2026 TV schedule, Dave Hester and other notable names were present to pay homage to their friend. Hester has spoken at length about his friendship with Sheets, as news of Storage Wars stars chipping in to help fund his memorial service made headlines. EW also reported that there were novelty $20 bills that contained Darrell Sheets' face, along with his tagline "The wow factor" on it as well. 67 doves were also released as a part of his memorial, representing each life that he spent living. Darrell Sheets' death came as a shock to many, as the Storage Wars cast was together when they learned the news. As the details of his suicide came to light, others opened up about the fact that he'd been a victim of cyberbullying and was suffering pretty badly from it as a result. Sheets even posted a message on social media, talking about the dark times he was going through. The memorial service feels like the beginning of the end of this chapter, as questions mount about what will become of Darrell Sheets' shuttered business. Brandon Sheets confirmed the business will reopen eventually, allowing fans of Storage Wars to show up and pay homage to the late reality television star over the years.
