Bandai Namco revealed the Code Vein 2 DLC expansion will be called Mask of Idris and feature both a version of returning character Lou MagMell and Liv Voda. There’s no release date yet, but there are a number of initial screenshots, details about both of the heroines, and a brief explanation about what to expect. There will also be a 2.0.0 free update patch for Code Vein 2 that adds more post-game gameplay. To start Code Vein 2 Mask of Idris, someone will need to go through “Valentin’s Request” after meeting him at MagMell in the past to help him explore the world and see the “Luna Fraterna” ending for the game. If you do, you’ll unlock access to this new storyline and its Forsaken World region. In that place, multiple timelines are converging. It is there that a version of Lou MagMell that wants to stop the Forsaken World’s pulling in of timelines appears as an ally Revenant again in Code Vein 2. It’s also where Liv Voda, another ally, appears. She used to be a Temporal Rift guardian, but left her post. We’ll deal with both as we attempt to stop the Forgotten World from leaking into the game’s timeline. Here are all the first screenshots for this expansion.
