E. Jean Carroll seeks the release of more than $5 million following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision not to hear Trump’s appeal in the civil case. (Credit: Elle/Youtube)E. Jean Carroll and her Democrat-funded lawyers are wasting no time trying to cash in.Just one day after the U.S. Supreme Court denied President Donald Trump’s appeal in the bogus 2023 sexual abuse and defamation case, Carroll’s legal team filed an emergency motion demanding a federal judge in Manhattan immediately release more than $5 million, plus nearly $780,000 in interest, from court-held funds. This is the same E. Jean Carroll, who accused President Trump of sexually abusing her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s.A Manhattan jury found Trump liable for “sexual abuse” (digital penetration under New York’s narrow definition) and defamation but did not find him guilty of “rape” under New York criminal law. Carroll has a long history of making similar accusations against multiple other men.President Trump responded forcefully on Truth Social after the Supreme Court’s Monday decision:“Surprisingly, the Supreme Court declined to ‘review’ a Fake Case brought against me by a woman I never met (Decades old celebrity photo line, standing with her husband, does not count!). I will continue the fight against this Weaponization and Lawfare Case against me, including the ridiculous claim of Defamation, with all of my power and strength. This Case is really against the United States of America, and all it stands for, and should never be allowed to happen to another President, or Candidate to be! New York State created a Law, for an instant speck of time, going back many decades, in order to wrongfully ‘nab’ me. It was tailormade, and this Injustice cannot be allowed to stand!”Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, asked the court to fast-track the payout and force Trump’s team to respond within seven days instead of the normal 14.The $5+ million was posted in a court-controlled account years ago while appeals played out. Now Carroll wants it released immediately even as President Trump remains in office and continues fighting these politically motivated attacks. As The Gateway Pundit reported just last month, the Department of Justice launched a criminal investigation into the massive funding E. Jean Carroll received from billionaire Democrat donor Reid Hoffman to bankroll lawsuits against President Trump. We also reported extensively on Carroll’s credibility problems, including her past statements that “rape is sexy” and a “fantasy” (an interview so bizarre CNN’s Anderson Cooper cut to commercial), her history of accusing numerous other men of assault, and a dress date discrepancy that President Trump himself highlighted after our reporting. As The Gateway Pundit previously reported:The Second Circuit upheld the $5 million judgment in late 2024.President Trump asked the Supreme Court to review the case in November 2025.Bill O’Reilly and others have called for criminal prosecution of Carroll over what they describe as a funded smear operation. There is also the separate $83.3 million defamation judgment from her 2019 statements, another massive lawfare payout attempt that remains entangled in appeals and legal maneuvering. The post E.
