I live in a 5 bedroom house on an acre of land. Last summer, I overfilled my koi pond AND my sprinklers got stuck on for 7 hours while I was out of town. (Hubby was at work). My water bill was STILL only $600, that month. How do you run up an $860 water bill? Unless it's multiple months. But, where I live, they'll shut you off after you miss the second month.
