I actually bought my domain yesterday on Spaceship and I really liked the overall experience of it. Blogging is very new for me and I am learning the ropes of it. The most talked about hosting platform is probably Hostinger. But the renewal prices at Hostinger is very high and I have heard that recently their services are quite bad and their customer support sucks. I want to try Spaceship hosting but I am skeptical as people often advised not to buy domain and hosting from the same platform. Plus, there are not much people sharing their hosting experience on Spaceship because its relatively new than other platforms. Currently I use InfinityFree hosting which is free. And I built my blog on WordPress. I still haven't configured the new domain, so I use one of the free subdomains of InfinityFree. I don't expect robust features from the hosting provider - if they can provide affordable prices for both hosting and its renewal, good security and performance, reliability, decent customer support, good storage, then that's more than enough. I don't expect to have mailboxes, since mine is very small blog and I have a mail that I can use for it. Any other features is irrelevant for me. If you are someone who runs a blog and think your hosting platform is great, please share it. I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/No-Opportunity-2995 [link] [comments]
