Under the program, no more than 2% of the company's outstanding shares may be purchased during any 30-day period.Purchases will be made by Ventum Financial through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange and funded using the company's existing working capital. Any shares acquired under the bid will be cancelled and returned to treasury. TNR Gold said no company insiders intend to participate in the buyback. The company said it believes its recent share price does not fully reflect the underlying value of its business, citing market volatility in the junior mining sector despite continued progress at projects underlying its royalty interests and strengthened financial flexibility following a recent financing."Last month we were delighted to welcome Altius Minerals as a strategic, non-controlling investor in TNR Gold," TNR Gold executive chairman Kirill Klip said in a statement."The closing of this investment enables TNR Gold to advance the execution of its strategic plan and reflects strong market recognition of the quality of our assets and their potential."TNR Gold holds royalty interests tied to mining projects operated by companies including McEwen Inc., Ganfeng Lithium, Lundin Mining and BHP. The company said its portfolio provides exposure to critical minerals and gold projects at different stages of development.Klip also noted his ownership of 27.8 million TNR Gold common shares, describing it as a sign of his confidence in the company's long-term strategy and management team. "We look forward to working with Altius to maximize value for all our shareholders," he concluded.Terms and Privacy PolicyEU DSA contactPrivacy & Cookie SettingsMore Info
