Maltese MEP Daniel Attard has won the Sustainable Tourism Award at the 2026 MEP Awards, recognising his work on promoting responsible, inclusive and future-ready tourism policies across the European Union.Sharing the news on social media, Attard posted a photo holding the award alongside a heartfelt message.“This one is for those who stood by me when it was hardest,” he wrote.The annual MEP Awards, organised by The Parliament Magazine, recognise Members of the European Parliament who have made an outstanding contribution in their respective policy areas.
