Absolutely! My 15.5 yo mini poodle was healthy all his life - now I'm suddenly having to pay for $150 of meds each money (arthritis and age-related heart failure), the latter of which also cost me nearly $1,000 for an emergency vet appointment, an echo and other testing (my dog had essentially woken up one morning last month, gasping for air). All in all, he's my baby and I would pay for whatever he needs without hesitation. However, sadly, I know that many pet owners are not like this.
