Since Inside the Magic’s last update on June 23, more scaffolding, scrim, and construction equipment have been installed in the Germany World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT, blocking guest access to select walkways and a store entrance. For over a week, Walt Disney World Resort has appeared to be preparing for an exterior refurbishment of some of its Bavarian-inspired architecture.Germany World Showcase Pavilion Refurbishment at EPCOTCredit: DisneyLate last month, rolling planters and scrim-covered scaffolding appeared around the main entrance to the Stein Haus merchandise location in the Germany World Showcase Pavilion. Disney Park guests could still access the gift shop through alternate entrances, including the doorway under the “Weinkeller” facade.On July 2, WDWNT reported that more construction equipment had appeared near the Stein Haus entrance.
