If you break it down like that, if they had 20 people (friends + family) who gave $25 per person instead of a gift, yeah, it would work out. I don’t know if they have that many people who would have brought presents and spent that much or how you get a multi day vacation for three with an Airbnb for $500, but sure. Also, they’re still being ridiculous.
