To coincide with the launch of the Honkai: Nexus Anima Evolution Test closed beta, HoYoverse shared new trailers showing the ally character Nanafey and the Evolution Battle and Parade of Floats story cinematics that appear in this build. All of the new footage offers insights into elements that should be present when the full game finally launches. However, since this is an in-development title, that could change. First, here’s the trailer for Nanafey in Honkai Nexus Anima. She’s currently a student and class representative at Montemar Academy in Ilia. She loves Anima, even though her weakest subject according to her latest report card is Nexus Battle Basics with a B. The Beebee is her signature Anima. Her goal is to travel to other Planes and chronicle her journey as she does. Some initial infographics detailing the character appeared online too. You can see those in the gallery below. As for the other Honkai: Nexus Anima story cinematics trailers that appeared alongside the Evolution Test closed beta, those highlight both casual and competitive moments. First, here’s the in-game footage from the Parade of Floats in Ilia. It means we get to see a number of Anima characters and people celebrating. The Evolution Battle Honkai: Nexus Anima cinematic highlights a fight between a character and Blade. In it, we see an Inkifoal evolve into an Atragasus. Honkai: Nexus Anima is in development for PCs and mobile devices, and the closed Evolution Test beta is now live worldwide until July 27, 2026.
