France Galop will present the 2026 budget to the France Galop Committee on Thursday, July 16, Jour de Galop reported on Thursday. The Board of Directors will then vote, although a date has not been given as of yet. This follows the unanimous adoption of the PMU's 2026 budget, which took place on June 30, after several months of discussion. Set at €725 million, compared to €802 million in 2025, this new budget enables the two parent companies to finalise and submit their own 2026 budgets to their respective governing bodies. The SETF has already approved its own.A net loss of €26.2 million is predicted, while incorporating €16.5 million in cost savings compared to the previous budget. The Board of Directors also reaffirmed that preserving prize-money incentives remained its top priority. Monetary reserves, built up since 2019, could, if necessary be utilised to fill the gap.The post France Galop To Present 2026 Budget On July 16 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
