The Malta Police Force has welcomed 45 new appointments, with 18 officers promoted to the rank of Inspector and 27 new Police Patrol & Community Support Officers (PPCSOs) officially joining the force during a ceremony held at Police General Headquarters.Addressing the new recruits, Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà congratulated the newly appointed Inspectors and described their promotions as an important milestone in their policing careers.He said the Malta Police Force has become “more open, more willing to listen, and more committed to supporting its members”, urging the new leaders to always put people first.“Think of the victims of crime, the families seeking reassurance, businesses wanting to operate in a safe environment, and communities expecting a professional and empathetic service.
