Dana White has furiously lashed out at his own production team after they misnamed Shakur Stevenson on the UFC 329 broadcast.White announced the signing of pound-for-pound superstar Stevenson to his Zuffa Boxing promotion this weekend.The Stevenson blunder went viral, as he was mistaken for NBA star WilliamsAnd the Newark wizard was sat cageside at Conor McGregor’s comeback defeat to Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas.But on the UFC broadcast, it was a disaster for White’s new man as he suffered with mistaken identity.As he waved and was shown on camera on the live broadcast, the label read: “Jalen Williams, Oklahoma City Thunder Guard, 2025 NBA Champion.”Of course he was not Williams, and the error has become quite common on UFC broadcasts in recent years.That is according to the promotion’s president White, who was absolutely furious with the blunder.He went on an explosive rant at the post-fight press conference, criticising the production’s error.“I tell you all the time — my production team, we just did the White House,” he shouted. “We built a f***ing arena on the South Lawn of the White House, and it was the greatest f***ing thing in the world to be there and to watch it on TV.“I just paid Shakur Stevenson a s***load of money, and for some reason, we can’t figure this celebrity s*** out. “They put him up as an ‘OKC’ NBA player.
