Teens beat female police officer at North Charleston, SC, July 4 block partyNew details and footage have emerged from the July 4 teen takeover in North Charleston, South Carolina, and the North Charleston Police Chief has addressed the incident. As The Gateway Pundit reported, a mob of teens at a July 4 block party on Saturday attacked police officers after they responded to reports of gunfire and individuals firing fireworks toward passing vehicles.Multiple firearms and a makeshift spear were also recovered by police. Two female officers were injured after being physically assaulted, the police said.Video from the incident shows one female officer being thrown to the ground by two individuals as one throws punches at her head. A black woman is then seen smacking the officer with a stick as the violent struggle with a male suspect continues.Two officers stepped in to pull the thugs away, with one deploying his taser before slamming his knee into the chest of a man who appeared to have the female officer in a headlock.
