Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district reported 109 farmer suicides between January and June 2026. Marathwada region recorded 465 farmer suicides during the first six months of 2026. The administration found 215 cases eligible for government financial aid. Currently, 222 cases remain under scrutiny for compensation eligibility. Financial aid has already been granted in 108 farmer suicide cases.
