ClearBank Appoints Ken Johnstone as Chief Product Officer to Accelerate Product Innovation Across the UK and Europe

ClearBank, the enabler of real-time clearing and embedded banking, today announces that Ken Johnstone has joined as Chief Product Officer. Ken will lead product strategy with a focus on scaling ClearBank's platform and capabilities across the UK and Europe.Ken joins ClearBank with more than two decades of experience across fintech, banking and telecoms, with a strong track record of building and scaling customer-focused products in regulated environments. He has worked across the UK, Europe, the US, Asia and Australia, delivering products across complex and varied markets.Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer for NatWest Boxed and Mettle, where he defined and delivered cloud-native banking platforms and embedded finance propositions. At Mettle, he led the transformation from an e-money proposition into a fully regulated digital bank, scaling to more than 150,000 UK business customers. At NatWest Boxed, he built and launched a Banking-as-a-Service platform enabling partners to develop and scale compliant financial products.At ClearBank, Ken will join the Group Executive team and will be responsible for advancing the company’s product proposition across payments, accounts and embedded banking, supporting clients across fintech, financial services and corporates.
