“ActBlue raised $586 million for Democratic candidates and causes in the second quarter, a record amount that will enhance the party’s fortunes as it prepares to confront Republicans in midterm elections that are projected to be the most expensive in U.S. history,” Bloomberg reports.“The total is the biggest for any quarter in a midterm cycle.”
