By Mulengera ReportersThe Executive Assistant Omutume David Kabanda says that the UPC President Jimmy Akena has no moral authority to criticize and demonize Gen MK, while branding him a torturer and murder, because his dad, the ex-President Milton Obote, committed much more serious atrocities, including the killing of 0.5m in Luwero during the NRA bush war. At a Thursday news conference at the new PLU offices in Nakasero, Kabanda said that what happens these days, as MK runs the show in Uganda, is the due process of suspects including politicians being taken to court and remanded in Luzira unlike during the days of Amin and Akena’s dad Milton Obote when many went missing, got killed and don’t even have marked/known graves up to this day. He accused Akena of being an envious ex-first son who is out to tell lies against Gen MK in the hope that such can blackmail his father President Museveni into giving him money and re-appointing his wife Betty Amongi back to Cabinet so that the UPC first couple can once again enjoy state perks and all the privileges that come with being in Cabinet.
