Experts highlighted the need for integrated systems that support autistic individuals through education, employment, relationships, independent living and ageing, while keeping families at the centre of care.“We need robust systems and a roadmap to support autistic individuals. This requires multidisciplinary teams working across health, education, vocation, policymakers, NGOs and other stakeholders. This conference is the result of such a collaboration, and such partnerships should continue to define autism care in the community,” said Dr. Pratima Giri, developmental paediatrician.Published - July 12, 2026 08:30 pm ISTSign in to unlock member-only benefits!Access 10 free stories every monthSave stories to read laterAccess to comment on every storySign-up/manage your newsletter subscriptions with a single clickGet notified by email for early access to discounts & offers on our products${ ind + 1 } ${ device }Last active - ${ la }
