Southwest monsoon activity remained subdued across most of India on Sunday. Heavy rainfall was confined to Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and northeastern states. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted for northeast India and West Bengal. Uttarakhand experienced landslides, blocking numerous roads and causing evacuations. Dry weather prevailed across Rajasthan, with some light rain expected later.
