A concession agreement was signed for developing Chaltlang Tourist Lodge into a premium hotel. Hotel Polo Towers Ltd. will design, build, finance, and operate the new facility. This project aims to enhance Mizoram's tourism infrastructure and create local employment opportunities. The agreement follows a public-private partnership initiative supported by Invest India. Mizoram currently lacks any four-star or higher category hotels.
