Niamh Charles is raring to go with Manchester City, following her arrival from Chelsea.City have reportedly paid £500,000 for Charles, who has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Women's Super League champions.The England international spent six years with the Blues, making 173 appearances in that time and winning 12 major honours.She was part of the Chelsea team that won five straight WSL titles under Emma Hayes and Sonia Bompastor, while she also won four FA Cups and the Women's League Cup three times.Charles made just 11 WSL appearances in 2025-26, though, and she is keen to get more gametime ahead of next year's Women's World Cup.The full-back previously made two appearances as England finished as World Cup runners-up in 2023, then featured five times during their Euro 2025 success."[It's] really exciting.
