So, report them? You are being just as much a problem as they are if you know it’s happening, you’re not saying/doing anything and then throwing that blanket over anybody on SNAP. I reported my former direct boss who claimed to be disabled but was a warehouse manager lifting boxes and doing all sorts of physical shit. Had a handicapped placard for her new truck, was on snap benefits, had Medicaid, and was being kindly paid under the table by the owners of the company because she was struggling when they initially hired her and they never really revisited… then I’d hear her bitch one off about “people not wanting to work” and “too many people getting government benefits that don’t deserve it”. Meanwhile she was making more money than all the salaries under her combined and getting healthcare I certainly couldn’t afford. She doesn’t have those benefits anymore (and was absolutely fucking PISSED when it happened) because they literally sent someone to the job site and just saw her doing all sorts of documentable stuff that proved she was physically abled. hmmmm, I wonder who reported her?! Instead you’d rather pass on the skepticism and cynicism onto someone else, whose situation is unknown to you, when they could actually need the help. How about you do your part, stop being complacent, and report the people you allegedly know are mooching off the system instead of casting doubt on people who may have actual problems that those programs were meant for.
