Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah accused the BJP of attempting to destabilize his government. He claimed that BJP leaders offered money and ministerial positions to National Conference MLAs. One MLA reported being offered twenty to thirty crore rupees and statehood. Abdullah expressed confidence that his party legislators would not be swayed by such offers. NC President Farooq Abdullah also acknowledged attempts to break the party.
