For six years, I let fear convince me I wasn’t smart enough for college, nor would my circumstances allow me to complete a degree. Today, I finally stopped listening to it. I submitted my application, completed everything I needed to, and now all that’s left to do is wait. No matter what happens, I’m proud of myself for taking the first step. Growth starts with showing up even when you’re scared. I don’t have much of a support system, or friends. It’s just me and my son - so I hope this makes you smile with me today!
