Bhadrachalam to 15 years imprisonment for rape and abduction of a 15-year-old girl in Bhimavaram police division in West Godavari district in 2021. In an official release, West Godavari SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi said: “On 20 April, 2021, Bhadrachalam abducted the girl from her house when she was alone, and took her away on his two-wheeler. The girl was rescued four days later during a search operation.”.A case was registered on a complaint by the girl, who alleged that she was raped by Bhadrachalam, said the SP.The Bhimavaram POCSO court Judge B. Lakshminarayana sentenced Bhadrachalam to 15 years imprisonment under various charges, including those relating to rape and abduction, said Mr. Nayeem Asmi.
