Essar Group has acquired SGN Retail, adding 118 petrol stations. This acquisition expands Essar Energy Transition Retail's network to 235 sites. The company plans to grow its fuel retail network to 800 outlets by 2031. This expansion aims to create a nationwide, vertically integrated platform. The deal is valued between £400 million and £450 million.
