Espionage Adventure Spymaster Leaves PC VR & Quest Early Access In October

Wait 5 sec.

After a five-month Early Access period, Innerspace's time-warping secret agent adventure Spymaster gets its full release on Steam and Quest on October 15. Spymaster is the latest project from Innerspace, best known for the A Fisherman's Tale games. You take control of two different operatives in extraction-like action scenarios. The goal is to run, jump, zipline, and shoot both agents to the end of the scenario with optional objectives along the way. If you mess up and one agent is out of position or killed in action, you can rewind time via a wristwatch device to correct your mistakes or fine-tune an already successful run. The full release will come with three new missions, including a finale featuring all three of Spymaster's agents (instead of the two agents in prior missions). I played Spymaster at the Game Developers Conference in March and again when the game released in Early Access this spring. In both cases, Innerspace's signature charm and quirky gameplay found in their previous VR titles were ever present with the missions triggering my inner perfectionist's need to get everything just right. I play a lot of puzzle games and rarely replay them because the magic is often lost when I know the solution, but Spymaster managed to circumvent that.Spymaster Early Access Review: Equal Parts Charming & ThrillingSpymaster is a character hot-swapping time manipulating spy thriller with developer Innerspace’s signature charm.UploadVRMike JohnsonSpymaster is available now in Early Access on Quest and Steam.
