If you found yourself feeling particularly fresh yesterday, you were definitely justified – Monday 14th September saw Malta recording its coolest temperature in 111 days. In a series of statistics posted last night, popular Facebook forecasting page It-Temp Madwarna showed just how notable yesterday’s highest temperature of 27°C was. “This means it was a decrease of 5°C from the day before, the first below-average day in 49 days, the first time it was below 30°C in 72 days, and the lowest high in 111 days,” the page wrote. The lowest temperature yesterday evening was also particularly fresh, with the 21.6°C being the coolest since the morning of 10th July.
