The sixth session of the Keeneland September sale had its first seven-figure yearling when Tom Ryan bid $1.2 million on behalf of the stallion-making partnership of Front Row Club, Starlight Racing, and Madaket Stable for a colt by Nyquist (hip 1686) Sunday.“He's by a stallion everybody now respects in Nyquist,” Ryan said. “So you're giving yourself a chance of creating a potential Kentucky sire down the road if he lives up to our expectations.”The yearling is out of multiple stakes winner Alexandria (Constitution). He was bred by Three Chimneys Farm and was consigned by Four Star Sales. Three Chimneys purchased the mare as a 3-year-old for $325,000 at the 2021 Keeneland November sale. The post ‘Stallion Everyone Respects’: Nyquist Colt Brings $1.2 Million at Keeneland appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
