Earlier this year I updated my dad and myself to iPhone 17s. I was on his plan because I was unable to work and had been waiting for disability to be approved. Now I’m on it and he’s in a nursing home so I pay for us. When I went in to get them, the guy asked what we were current using. I told him iPhone 13s. He literally put his hand to his chest and gasped, like he was getting the vapors or something. I still laugh about it. Like jeez, they weren’t that old. His was just getting beat up and we got free 17s so I figured why not. We had the X before that. If he wasn’t so hard on phones I’d still be fine using those. Before that I was still using my 6s+ and it was still fine and I don’t even notice a huge difference.
